Storm Damage

Homes were flooded in St. Simmons after Hurricane Matthew. It was a while before homeowners were allowed to return to the area which meant water was most likely sitting in the homes. Flood damage can truly destroy areas in the home. Walls, flooring, roofs, ceilings can all have damage due to the amount of rainfall and wind that occurs during a hurricane. Here, you see where water was seeping into the home in the kitchen. The after picture shows the cabinets and walls that had been removed due to the water damage. We were very happy to help other SERVPROs during this time of need.
